Meet Luz! Founder + Planner/Designer

Hi friends! I’m a Certified Wedding Planner & Certified Design Consultant living in the heart of the Bay Area in Emeryville, a tiny city nestled between Berkeley & Oakland. My biggest flex is that I can be anywhere in the Bay Area within 45 minutes (with no traffic of course)! I live with my husband in our peaceful, sun-filled home where bettering ourselves is always a topic of conversation. I enjoy business & true-crime podcasts, reading self-help books, & California’s weather whenever possible!

After successfully planning my wedding all on my own, but after lots of stress at the expense of focussing on my career at the time, I knew I needed to save others from the same experience. My goal is to minimize the angst & time that true wedding planning takes to allow YOU to focus on LIFE and actually enjoy your engagement in its entirety. 

I studied psychology & business at the University of California, Berkeley & always knew I wanted to create a business that intimately worked with people.

After planning my wedding, I knew wedding planning was my calling! I enjoy research, quality planning & execution, & putting smiles on peoples faces- what better career for me than this? 

At my core I am a calm, genuine, & efficient person. I approach planning with the same attitude. I strongly believe in working hard, following your dreams, believing in yourself, & enjoying all the small things along the way! & yes, I also believe in good coffee & matcha lattes!
